Modern Photography of Latin America
Visit an exhibition in Minsk, June 24 – July 19.
Modern photography of Latin America is a terra incognita for our part of the world that looks at the region through the eyes of classics like Jorge Luis Borges and Gabriel García Márquez, Frida Kahlo and David Alfaro Siqueiros, music of Antônio Carlos Jobim. Now, Minsk city dwellers have a possibility to try their knowledge of Latin American culture on this unique exhibition. The expo includes photos by photographers from Brazil, Uruguay, Mexico: Alejandro Almaraz, David Muñoz, Andrés Wertheim, Irina Werning (Argentine), Calé, Claudio Meneghetti, Tiago Coelho, José Diniz, Leopoldo Plentz (Brazil), José Pilone, Liliana Molero (Uruguay), Jan Smith (Mexico)
The project is supported by the State Museum and Exposition Complex Rosiso of the Ministry of Culture of Russia, the Iris Foundation and BAJ. Open June 24 to July 19, at TESKH (ЦЭХ), Octyabrskaya/Kastrychnitskaya Street 16.
